This is the top-contact version — the FFC's exposed pads face upward when the cable is inserted. It accepts 0.30 mm thick FFC, which covers most standard flex circuits and pre-terminated cables. The straight cable end type means no fold or bend at the connector entry. The phosphor bronze contacts are tin-plated, giving a reliable connection for signal-level currents.
