Press-fit and solder — why both are listed
The termination is listed as Press-Fit, Solder. In practice, this is a through-hole header with compliant press-fit pins that can also be wave-soldered. The press-fit feature allows a solderless assembly where the pin interference holds the header in the plated through-hole, reducing thermal stress on the board. For most builds, wave solder is still the standard — the press-fit option is there for designs that want to skip the solder step.
