Board footprint and mating fit
The B08B-PNISK-1A: This is an 8-position, single-row header on 2.00 mm pitch, so the board footprint is 16 mm wide plus the keep-out for the shroud. The through-hole termination uses a press-fit solder tail — the 0.134" (3.40 mm) post length is meant for a standard 1.6 mm PCB thickness. The 4-wall shroud and latch lock protect the male pins from damage during mating and hold the cable-side receptacle in place under vibration. Mated stack height is 12.25 mm, which sets the clearance between the PCB and the cable connector body.
Current and voltage ceiling
Rated 3 A per contact at 100 V, with tin-on-tin contact finish. Tin plating is cost-effective for moderate mating cycles — expect 50 to 100 cycles before wear starts to show. The operating range is -25°C to 85°C, so it works in indoor equipment but not in an engine bay or outdoor cabinet without climate control.
