14-Position Shrouded Header for Wire-to-Board Harnesses
The detent lock provides an audible click on full engagement, confirming the mating half is seated and reducing the chance of partial connection under vibration.
The mated stack height of 8.8 mm gives a low-profile interconnect for space-constrained enclosures. The through-hole termination anchors the header to the board, handling the shear force from cable strain during assembly and service.
The 14-position B14B-PHDSS(LF)(SN) sits between the 12-position B12B-PHDSS(LF)(SN) and the 16-position B16B-PHDSS. All use the same shrouded header design and tin-plated contacts, so the board footprint scales linearly with position count. For a 14-circuit harness, this header matches the pin count exactly — no unused positions. If the BOM calls for 16 circuits, the B16B-PHDSS is the direct step-up, identical in every other spec.
