It uses a 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch, which sets the PCB footprint and determines the mating receptacle. Rated 10A per circuit at 250V, the current capacity is solid for a 3.96mm-pitch header, but the tin-on-tin contact interface (tin plating on both mating and post sides) means this connector is best suited for applications with limited mating cycles — tin wears faster than gold under repeated connect/disconnect. The housing is molded from UL94 V-0 rated polyamide (PA66), making it acceptable for equipment installed inside enclosures that require a flammability rating.
This header accepts the JST VH series crimp receptacle housing. The male pin contact length on the mating side is 0.303" (7.70mm), and the solder tail length is 0.142" (3.60mm). The square male pins are brass with tin plating. Termination is solder-only — no press-fit option on this variant.
