The brass contact material with circular male pin geometry provides reliable electrical contact within the current and voltage envelope. The housing is glass-filled PA6T (UL94 V-0), which handles the reflow temperatures of lead-free soldering without distortion.
Mating Half and Pinout
This header mates with JST's ZH series crimp receptacle housings and their matching crimp terminals. The 9-position single-row pinout is straightforward: each pin corresponds to one circuit in the mating receptacle, loaded all positions. The SMT footprint requires a 1.50 mm pitch layout — confirm the pad geometry against the JST product drawing before committing the PCB.
The ZH series includes sibling headers at 7, 8, and 10 positions (B7B-ZR-SM4-TF, B8B-ZR-SM4-TF, B10B-ZR-SM4-TF) sharing the same 1.50 mm pitch, SMT termination, shrouded design, and 1 A/50 V rating. All are active and RoHS compliant.
