The 0.094" (2.40 mm) mating pin length engages the receptacle contact fully. Overall contact length is 0.256" (6.50 mm). The header stands 0.177" (4.50 mm) off the board, leaving clearance under the housing for trace routing.
Position Count vs. Sibling – 9 vs. 8 Circuits
Compared to the B8B-ZR (8-position), this 9-position header adds one signal path while keeping the same 1.50 mm pitch, 1 A rating, and 5.6 mm stack height. The board footprint grows by one row of holes; the mating receptacle changes accordingly.
