The JST YLP-15V is a 15-position, 3-row plug from the YL series, designed as a free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-wire or wire-to-board interconnect. The 4.50 mm pitch gives enough spacing to handle moderate current per circuit without crowding the harness — typical for power distribution in industrial control cabinets, vending machines, and appliance wiring where a field-repairable crimp connection is preferred over a soldered joint. The housing is molded from white polyamide (PA66) with a latch lock that gives a positive audible click when mated — no risk of the connector backing out under vibration on a conveyor line or a moving assembly. Rated for -25°C to 90°C operation, so it's fine for indoor equipment but not for a washdown zone or outdoor cabinet without additional sealing.
