Harness Housing for 1.50 mm Pitch Circuits
The JST ZER-09V-S is a 9-position receptacle housing from the ZE series, designed for wire-to-board or wire-to-wire interconnects at a 1.50 mm pitch. The single-row, natural PBT body uses a latch holder for positive retention — the lock engages audibly when mated with the corresponding ZE header. This is a free-hanging (in-line) housing, so it terminates a cable assembly rather than mounting to a PCB.
Termination and Mating
This housing accepts female socket contacts installed via crimp termination. The contacts are ordered separately — the housing ships empty. The latch holder on the housing mates with the corresponding locking ramp on the ZE series header; the lock holds the pair together under vibration without requiring a secondary clip. For field replacement, the crimp contacts can be extracted with a proper removal tool, allowing individual circuit repair without replacing the whole housing.
