The listing note is clear: contacts are not included. This housing is just the shell and latch. You need the matching ZE series female crimp terminal (JST part code SZE-xxT-P0.7) to populate it. Order both the housing and the terminals as a set to avoid a shelf orphan — a housing with no loaded contacts is dead stock until the terminals arrive.
3 Positions vs 2 Positions — ZER-03V-S vs ZER-02V-S
The ZER-03V-S and its sibling ZER-02V-S are identical in every spec except position count: 3 circuits vs 2 circuits. Same 1.50 mm pitch, same natural PBT housing, same latch lock, same free-hanging crimp termination. The choice is purely a circuit-count decision — match the number of wires in your harness. If your BOM calls for three conductors, the ZER-03V-S is the correct housing; the 2-position ZER-02V-S will not fit a three-wire cable.
