The JST ZER-02V-S is the 2-position receptacle housing from the ZE series, a compact wire-to-board interconnect family built around a 1.50mm pitch. It's the smallest position count in the ZE line — a two-wire drop for low-circuit-count connections like sensor leads, small indicator lamps, or internal power feeds inside consumer electronics and small appliances. The housing is natural PBT, free-hanging (in-line), and uses a latch holder to lock the mate against casual vibration.
Sizing the harness: contacts and crimp
The housing is a shell — it does not include contacts. The crimp termination is field-serviceable with a standard JST hand tool, so you can re-pin the housing on site if a terminal backs out or frets.
Crossing into the harness you've got
The ZER-02V-S shares the same 1.50mm pitch, single-row layout, natural PBT body, and latch holder as the 3-position ZER-03V-S and 4-position ZER-04V-S. If you need an extra circuit, step up to the ZER-03V-S; the mating header on the board stays the same ZE series footprint, just with more pins. No other functional difference — same terminal, same tooling, same latch.
