Receptacle Housing for 1.50mm Pitch ZH Series
The JST ZHR-4 is a 4-position receptacle housing from the ZH series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-board connections on a 0.059" (1.50mm) pitch.
The 1.50mm pitch is the narrowest in JST's standard line-up, which means the housing body is compact — about 6mm wide — suited for dense PCB layouts.
Crimp Termination and Contact Ordering
This housing accepts JST ZH-series female socket crimp terminals (typically the SZH-002T-P0.5 or equivalent). The primary latch inside the housing locks each terminal in place; a secondary retainer is not used on this series, so proper insertion depth and a click-check are the field confirmation that the contact is seated. The free-hanging design means the housing floats on the wire bundle, not fixed to a panel.
Material and Environmental Range
The housing is moulded from polyamide (PA66, Nylon 6/6) in natural colour, rated for continuous operation from -25°C to 85°C. PA66 offers good mechanical strength and resistance to common industrial solvents and oils within that temperature window. The ZHR-4 is RoHS3 compliant, and the series carries no separate UL/CSA listing in the evidence — the PA66 material itself is typically UL94 V-2 rated, but that is not confirmed on this specific part record.
