Board-to-Wire Header for Tight Spaces
The BE4P-SHF-1AA(LF)(SN): The through-hole bottom-entry orientation means the pins exit the board on the same side as the component — useful when the cable exits below the board or when stacking clearance is tight. Tin is a solid choice for applications with infrequent mating cycles — the contact finish is rated for the signal-level current without requiring gold's cycle-life margin.
The contact length on the post is 0.130" (3.30mm), enough for a 1.6mm board with a through-hole solder fillet. This header mates with JST NH series crimp receptacle housings. The insulation height of 0.394" (10.00mm) gives the mated connector pair a low profile above the board, which helps in enclosures with limited z-height.
