ZH Series Header for Tight Board-Edge Routing
Each of the nine tin-plated brass contacts is rated 1 A at 50 V — signal-level current suited for sensor inputs, control signals, or low-power data lines.
SMT Termination with Solder Retention
The header terminates via surface-mount solder tails — no through-holes, so the opposite side of the PCB stays clear for other components.
This header mates with JST ZH series crimp-style receptacle housings — the female side terminates to discrete wires via the matching ZH crimp terminals. The detent lock engages with a corresponding ramp on the receptacle housing; you'll hear it latch when fully seated. For a harness builder: the ZH terminal uses a specific applicator tool. If your crimp press is already set up for JST ZH terminals, this header runs on the same tooling — no changeover cost. If you're new to the series, budget for the terminal applicator or hand-crimp tool.
