3-Position Screwless Terminal Block for PCB
The 1-2834019-3: It uses a screwless spring-clamp termination — push the wire in, no tool required — accepting 16-20 AWG conductors. Contacts are copper alloy with tin plating — adequate for the rated current and environment, though gold plating would be specified if repeated field reconnections were the primary duty.
Screwless Termination and Board Fit
The screwless clamp accepts solid or ferruled stranded wire from 16 AWG down to 20 AWG. Insertion is a single push — the spring holds the conductor against the current bar. No screw torque to verify, which speeds panel assembly and eliminates the risk of under-torqued connections in high-vibration environments. The through-hole mounting pins are on 3.50 mm centres; the PCB layout needs a plated hole diameter matching the pin dimensions from the product drawing. Mating orientation is horizontal with the board — the wire entry is on the side, so the block sits low and the wires run parallel to the PCB. This suits enclosures where vertical clearance above the board is tight. The single-level design keeps all three terminations in one row.
