Gold-on-BeCu Contact for High-Cycle Signal Duty
The 2-332095-2 is a PCB pin socket from TE Connectivity's Series 1, designed to accept a mating pin diameter of 0.013" to 0.020" (0.33mm to 0.51mm). This is a signal-level socket, not a power contact; the narrow pin range and fine gold suit low-level circuits where contact resistance stability matters.
Solder Termination with No Tail — Board-Mount Fit
Termination is solder only, with a "No Tail" design — the socket sits flush in the plated through-hole, and the solder joint is made at the bottom of the hole. The mounting hole diameter is 0.041" (1.04mm), and the overall length is 0.178" (4.52mm) with a socket depth of 0.165" (4.19mm). The flange diameter is 0.059" (1.50mm), which acts as a stop against the board surface during insertion. This is a press-in-then-solder part; there is no press-fit interference retention.
