Single-post pin for staking into a PCB
The tin-plated phosphor bronze contact carries signal or low-current power and is intended for applications where the pin is soldered into the board and sees infrequent mating cycles — tin is the economical choice when the mating interface is not repeatedly cycled. The pin measures 0.325" (8.26mm) overall length, with 0.160" (4.06mm) standing above the flange and 0.100" (2.54mm) below. The flange diameter is 0.090" (2.29mm), and the above-flange pin diameter is 0.058" (1.47mm). It accepts a board thickness of 0.062" (1.57mm) nominal and requires a mounting hole between 0.067" and 0.073" (1.70mm to 1.85mm) in diameter. The clinch-fit termination stakes the pin into the plated through-hole without solder — the interference fit holds it during wave-solder or hand-solder assembly.
The part ships in bulk (loose pieces) rather than tape-and-reel — expect hand-insertion or vibratory-feeder handling for automated placement.
