TE Connectivity Buchanan 5.08mm — Terminal Block Header for Pluggable Industrial Wiring

TE Connectivity Buchanan 1796 series with over 200 variants provides 5.08mm pitch PCB headers that mate with Buchanan pluggable terminal block plugs (1776 series). The 5.08mm pitch provides adequate creepage and clearance for mains voltage circuits (up to 300V) while maintaining practical PCB connector density.

Header + Plug = Complete Pluggable System

The pluggable terminal block system consists of the fixed header (1796, soldered to PCB) and the plug connector (1776, screw or spring clamp wire terminations). The plug can be disconnected from the PCB without removing wiring — enabling rapid PCB replacement in industrial control panels.
