The header terminates via through-hole solder with a push-pull fastening type — the pin projects 0.830 inch from the shoulder for mating depth, and the push-pull shoulder locks into the matching receptacle without a jack-screw tool. Insulation is black PA nylon rated UL94 V-0, which means the housing self-extinguishes within the standard vertical burn test — suited for commercial and light-industrial equipment where flame-retardance is a UL/CSA requirement. The square pin profile suits the matching square socket entry in BERGSTIK® II IDC or machine-pin receptacles — the push-pull interface requires the mating half to have a compatible retention feature, not just a slip-fit.
