What it is
The Amphenol Amfox D3W3P36A6GL08LF is the 3-power-position member of the Delta D combo D-sub series — a right-angle through-hole plug sized for shell size 2 (DA), also referred to as the 3W3 layout. Three power-rated contacts carry 30 A per circuit at up to 300 V, terminated by solder to the PCB. Gold plating at 30.0 µin over brass contacts sits behind a nickel-plated steel shell with board-lock retention and grounding indents on the housing face. The M3 flange feature (Housing/Shell type) provides the primary panel-mount interface at the connector face.

Where combo D-subs are used
The 3W3 layout sits in the same hood footprint as standard DA D-subs, which means it drops into existing industrial enclosure cutouts sized for shell size 2 — the power contacts are pin-injected into the standard DA pin array, so the connector uses a standard panel preparation. The -55°C to 125°C operating window covers both outdoor instrumentation and internally heated cabinet equipment. UL94 V-0 dielectric makes it acceptable for equipment that must meet flame-retardant housing requirements.
