FFC thickness and contact side
The ZIF mechanism accepts FFC thicknesses of 0.30 mm and 0.33 mm — the actuator locks the flex against the bottom contacts, so the cable end must be straight or tapered with the conductor pattern facing down. The 20-cycle mating rating is typical for tin-plated ZIF connectors; the slide lock provides positive retention without relying on the flex cable's own stiffness.
