Board fit and locking for the ZH series
The B8B-ZR is an 8-position, single-row header from JST's ZH series, pitched at 1.50 mm and terminated through-hole with solder tails.
At 1 A per contact and 50 V, this header is suited for signal-level interconnects — think sensor inputs, low-power I/O, or control lines inside a cabinet. The 5.6 mm mated stack height sets the z-axis clearance between the PCB and the mating wire-to-board receptacle. The tin-plated contacts on both mating and post sides are rated for moderate mating cycles — tin works well in low-vibration, low-temperature environments but frets under thermal cycling if unmated repeatedly.
