What this 2-position header does in a board-to-cable link
Its 1.20 mm pitch is tighter than the legacy 2.54 mm standard, which means the board footprint is compact but the per-contact current ceiling is limited to 2 A — a signal-level rating, not a power interconnect.
At 1.20 mm pitch, the trace routing between pads is tight — expect to use 0.15 mm to 0.20 mm trace widths and a via-in-pad strategy if routing to inner layers. The 2 A per-contact rating is the maximum at 25 °C ambient; derate for elevated temperatures inside the enclosure.
This header mates with the ACH series crimp-style receptacle housing (sold separately). The male blade contacts are rectangular, and the mating receptacle accepts 28-32 AWG wire with the appropriate crimp terminal. Termination is solder — the SMT tails are designed for reflow soldering.
