6 positions at 1.50 mm — board footprint and cable exit
BM06B-ZESS-TBT is a 6-position, single-row SMT header from JST's ZE series, pitched at 1.50 mm. It terminates to a board and mates with a cable-side receptacle — the style is Board to Cable/Wire. The 2 A ceiling is conservative for a 1.50 mm pitch header — it keeps the temperature rise inside the PA housing well below the UL94 V-0 limit. In a wire-to-board connection subject to cable tug or vibration, the ramp prevents the receptacle from backing off.
SMT with pick-and-place and solder retention
The design includes pick-and-place features for automated assembly and solder retention pads that anchor the part during reflow. The housing material is polyamide (PA), rated UL94 V-0, so the connector is acceptable inside equipment enclosures that require a flame-retardant rating.
Position count choice in the ZE series
The ZE series offers the same 1.50 mm pitch, 2 A rating, 9.4 mm stack height, and SMT format in 5-, 6-, and 7-position variants. The BM05B-ZESS-TBT (5 positions) and BM07B-ZESS-TBT (7 positions) are identical in every other spec — the choice is simply circuit count. No other parametric difference between them.
