Board-to-wire header with shrouded latch
The BM09B-GVHS-TB(LF)(SN) is the 9-position member of JST's GVH header series, a board-to-wire connector with a shrouded 4-wall housing and integral latch holder for positive retention against the mating receptacle. Rated 1 A per contact at 50 V, the header uses tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts and terminates via surface-mount solder joints. The 1.25 mm pitch and 8.8 mm mated stack height suit compact wire-to-board interconnects in space-constrained enclosures.
Mounting and retention details
Solder retention features on the SMT tails hold the header in place during reflow and resist shear forces from cable strain. The 4-wall shroud protects the mating contacts and guides the receptacle into alignment before the latch engages. The header mates with JST's GVH series receptacle housings to achieve the 8.8 mm mated stack height. The latch holder provides audible and tactile feedback when fully seated, reducing the risk of partial mating in high-vibration environments.
