Sizing the footprint for a 15-circuit wire-to-board
At 1.50 mm pitch, the BM15B-ZESS-TBT packs 15 circuits into a single row — the board footprint runs about 22.5 mm wide from the centre of pin 1 to the centre of pin 15, plus the shrouded walls on each end. That narrow, long profile suits board-edge routing where you need to bring a ribbon of wires off the PCB without eating up z-height.
This header mates with JST ZE series crimp receptacles — the matching housing accepts the ZE crimp terminals (20–26 AWG, tin or gold depending on your cycle count).
The housing material is UL94 V-0 rated polyamide — it self-extinguishes within 10 seconds, which satisfies the flammability requirement for most end-product safety certifications.
