40-circuit SHD board-to-wire header
The BM40B-SRDS-A-G-TF(LF)(SN) is the 40-circuit member of JST's SHD board-to-wire header line, a 1.00 mm pitch shrouded header for cable-to-board interconnects. Rated 1 A per contact at 50 V with gold-plated mating contacts, the header mounts surface-mount and achieves a mated stack height of 6.3 mm.
Pitch, footprint, and routing density
The 1.00 mm pitch and dual-row layout place 40 circuits in a compact board footprint; the 4-wall shrouded housing with board guide and solder retention aids alignment during reflow. The UL94 V-0 glass-filled nylon housing supports an operating range of -25°C to 85°C, and the 4.25 mm insulation height provides clearance for routing under the connector.
