The natural polyamide 66 body carries no contacts in the bag; that's the first thing to know before you add it to a BOM line. It mates with the matching EH series pin header (through-hole or SMT, straight or right-angle) to land a 5-way signal or low-power interconnect.
The housing accepts the terminal after crimping; a lance in the housing locks the contact in place. No contacts in the bag means no last-minute scramble on the build floor if you didn't budget the terminals.
