The female socket contacts that go inside it must be ordered separately — the exact JST crimp terminal for the NSH series. Factor that into the BOM line before the build starts, because the housing alone won't make a connection. The housing accepts the contacts through the rear cavity, and the latch lock holds them in place after crimping.
How It Sits in the NSH Series
The NSHR-05V-S is the 5-position member of the NSH receptacle housing family, sharing the same 1.00 mm pitch, single-row layout, latch lock, and natural PBT material with the 4-position NSHR-04V-S and the 6-position NSHR-06V-S. The only difference between them is the cavity count — pick the one that matches the circuit count on the harness drawing. All three accept the same crimp socket terminal and mate with the same NSH series pin headers, so swapping between them is a straight position-count decision with no tooling change.
