Wiring a 4-Circuit Harness with the PAP-04V-S
The natural PA66 body handles -25°C to 85°C, which covers interior automotive, appliance, and industrial control cabinet environments. For a 4-circuit harness, this housing is the wire-side half that mates to the board-mounted header.
Selecting the Right Position Count
If your BOM calls for 5 circuits, the PAP-05V-S uses the same housing material, latch lock, and crimp terminal — only the cavity count changes. The 4-position version keeps the harness compact for a 4-wire run; stepping up to 5 or 6 positions (PAP-06V-S) adds length along the same single-row footprint without changing the header pitch or terminal type.
Terminal and Header Compatibility
This housing accepts JST PA-series female crimp terminals — order those separately as the note states. The crimp termination suits automated or bench harness assembly; strip the wire, crimp the terminal, insert until the latch seats.
Sourcing the PAP-04V-S
No official cross-reference or direct second-source is on record; the PA series is a JST standard, so the housing, header, and terminals are a single-vendor set.
