The JST PHR-13 is a 13-position, single-row receptacle housing from the PH series, designed for 2.00 mm pitch wire-to-board interconnects. It accepts crimp-terminated female socket contacts (sold separately) and locks into place on the mating pin header via a detent lock — an audible click confirms full engagement.
Position Count — 13 vs 12 Circuits
The PHR-13 carries 13 positions against the 12 of the PHR-12 at the same 2.00 mm pitch and single-row layout. The extra circuit means a 2.00 mm longer housing — the footprint on the mating header shifts by that one position. If your BOM calls for 13 signal or power lines, the PHR-12 leaves one circuit unconnected; the PHR-13 fills the harness without a blank cavity.
Crimp Terminals — Ordered Separately
The detent lock inside the cavity retains the terminal; a secondary pull test confirms it is seated. For a full harness, budget for the contacts and a hand-crimp tool matched to the wire gauge.
