Product details

2-Position PH Series Receptacle Housing

The 2.00 mm pitch is tight enough to keep board real estate small — a 2-position header footprint is about 4 mm wide — but leaves enough room for hand-loading 24-30 AWG wire with crimp terminals. The detent lock is a molded ramp on the housing that clicks over a matching bump on the header; it prevents the connector from backing off during cable flex or thermal cycling. No secondary lock or TPA is required, which keeps the assembly sequence to one operation: insert the terminal until it seats.

The female crimp terminals that fit this housing are the JST SPH-002T-P0.5S (tin-plated, 24-30 AWG) or the gold-plated variant for corrosive environments. The mating header is a pin header from the same PH series — the B2B-PH-K-S or S2B-PH-SM4-TB, depending on through-hole or SMT mounting. The housing is keyed by the shape of the cavity; a reversed terminal will not insert fully.
