The 4-Circuit Housing That Expects You to Order Terminals Separately
The detent lock on the housing gives a positive feel when mated to a PH series pin header, and the natural PA66 nylon body handles the -25°C to 85°C range typical of non-sealed interior environments. Contacts are not included.
The PHR-4 mates with any JST PH series pin header at the same 2.00mm pitch — through-hole or SMT, straight or right-angle, single-row. The detent lock engages with the header's locking ramp, so the pair stays mated under light vibration. No secondary lock or TPA on this housing; terminal retention relies on the crimp terminal's lance locking into the housing cavity. The free-hanging (in-line) mounting means it's a wire-to-board connector, not a panel-mount or board-to-board part. Because it's a single-row, 4-position housing, it won't mate with a dual-row header or anything outside the PH series at a different pitch. The 2.00mm pitch is the series constant — every PH header and housing shares it, so position count is the only variable.
