Terminals and mating: what you need to order separately
The PHR-7 housing does not include contacts — you must order the matching crimp female socket terminals separately. The crimp termination requires a hand or pneumatic crimp tool sized for the PH series terminal. The housing mates with JST PH series pin headers (straight or right-angle, through-hole or SMT) at the same 2.00 mm pitch. The detent lock engages audibly when the header is fully seated; listen for the click to confirm full insertion before the harness leaves the bench.
