8-Position 2.00 mm Pitch Socket Housing — PNI Series
The JST PNIRP-08V-S is the 8-circuit member of the PNI series of single-row wire-to-board socket housings. It carries 8 positions on a 2.00 mm pitch, which keeps the mated connector pair compact for space-constrained harness assemblies. The housing is a natural PBT shell with a latch holder for positive retention — it clicks home against the mating header and stays put under vibration without needing a secondary lock. This is a crimp-termination housing: the wires are terminated into separate female socket contacts (ordered as PNI series crimp terminals), then inserted into the housing cavities. The housing itself ships empty — contacts are not included, so the BOM needs a separate line for the terminals and the crimp tool. The glass-filled PBT insulation material holds up to typical reflow and wave-solder profiles on the header side.
