The Contacts Are the Catch

The single most common mistake with this housing is assuming it arrives ready to crimp. It does not — the female socket terminals are ordered separately under the PUD series crimp terminal part number. The housing is a shell; you supply the contacts and the wire.

The 2.00 mm row spacing is identical to the pitch, so the board-side header uses a 20-pin, dual-row layout with 2.00 mm between centres in both axes. The free-hanging (in-line) mounting type means the housing is intended for cable harness assembly, not PCB mounting — it terminates the wire bundle and mates to a right-angle or vertical header soldered to the board.
