The JST PUDP-30V-S is a 30-circuit receptacle housing from the PUD series, designed as the wire-side half of a wire-to-board interconnect system. It uses a 2.00mm pitch across two rows, giving it a compact footprint that matches the PUD series pin headers. The housing is natural PBT with a latch lock that provides positive retention when mated — the lock clicks home and holds against vibration in industrial and consumer equipment. This is a crimp-termination housing, meaning you install the contacts onto individual wires and insert them into the rear of the housing; the contacts themselves are ordered separately.
What It Mates With and What You Need to Add
The PUDP-30V-S mates with the corresponding PUD series pin header — a 30-position, dual-row, 2.00mm pitch through-hole or SMT header. The header side carries the male pins; this receptacle housing accepts the female crimp socket terminals. Because the housing does not include contacts, you need to source the correct JST crimp terminals for your wire gauge (typically 22-28 AWG for the PUD series) and a hand crimp tool. The latch lock on the housing engages with a matching ramp on the header, so the mated pair stays locked without a secondary clip.
