Pitch, Position Count, and Row Layout — Fit Before You Wire
The 36 positions are arranged in two rows of 18, so the harness builder must plan for a 2×18 wire bundle. The dual-row layout halves the connector length compared to a single-row 36-position housing, which matters when routing the harness through a tight enclosure opening.
This receptacle mates with the JST PUD series pin header with 2.00 mm pitch.
Temperature Range and Fastening — Where It Works
It is not rated for engine-bay heat or outdoor direct-sun exposure without additional thermal management. For high-vibration environments (off-road, powertrain), consider adding a secondary locking feature if the header provides one.
