Board-to-Cable Header for Tight Enclosures
The S10B-EH(LF)(SN): The latch lock provides a positive retention with the mating receptacle — once the pair clicks together, vibration and cable tug won't back the connector out. That matters in equipment that ships assembled or sees field handling.
Mating Half and Pinout
This header mates with JST EH series crimp receptacles — the standard mating half is the S10B-EH receptacle housing loaded with SEH-series crimp terminals. The 10 positions are all loaded (no skipped pins), so the pinout is a straight 1-to-1 pass-through: pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2, and so on.
Termination is press-fit, solder — the through-hole pins are pressed into the board and then wave-soldered. The contact length on the post side is 0.126" (3.20mm), which suits standard 1.6mm-thick PCBs with enough tail protrusion for a reliable solder fillet. This saves z-height in stacked-board assemblies and simplifies cable routing in shallow enclosures.
