Board-to-wire header with locking ramp for vibration-prone runs
The S12B-PASK-2 is a 12-position, single-row header from JST's PA series, pitched at 2.00 mm and terminated through-hole, right-angle. The 4-wall shrouding protects the male pins during handling, and the locking ramp holds the mating receptacle secure against cable pull or vibration — a common requirement in control cabinets and small appliances. Rated 3 A per contact at 250 V, with a UL94 V-0 glass-filled PBT housing and tin-on-tin contact finish. The operating range spans -25°C to 85°C.
Right-angle termination saves board height
The right-angle orientation routes the wire exit parallel to the PCB, keeping the mated stack height low — useful when the board sits inside a shallow enclosure or against a panel. The kinked solder tails (0.134" post length) provide retention during wave soldering and resist pull-out forces from the cable. A board guide on the housing aligns the header during insertion, preventing pin damage on the mating receptacle.
