Pitch, Positions, and Mating Half
The 2.00mm pitch and 2-row layout with 0.079" row spacing give a compact footprint that balances routing density with ease of soldering. All 16 positions are loaded. The mating half is a JST PUD series receptacle housing with crimp socket terminals. The 4-wall shrouding guides the receptacle into alignment during mating. The square male pins (Copper Alloy) mate with standard PUD crimp terminals.
The 0.118" (3.00mm) post length is standard for through-hole soldering on typical 1.6mm boards. A board guide feature helps align the header during soldering and prevents skew during mating, which is helpful in automated pick-and-place or wave-solder processes.
