PUD series 16-circuit header
The S16B-PUDSS-1(LF)(SN) is the 16-circuit member of JST's PUD board-to-cable/wire header line, a shrouded dual-row part on 2.00 mm pitch. Rated 3 A per contact at 250 V with tin-plated mating contacts, it suits signal-level wire-to-board interconnects where the latch holder and four-wall shroud protect the mated pair from vibration.
Shroud and latch retention
The four-wall shrouded housing with integral latch holder guides the mating receptacle into alignment and locks it — the shroud walls shield the male pins from stubbing during blind-mate assembly. Insulation height is 0.335" (8.51 mm), measured from the board surface to the top of the shroud.
Right-angle through-hole mounting
Through-hole right-angle orientation places the header parallel to the board edge, with solder tails 0.118" (3.00 mm) long for the PCB holes. The board guide feature aids alignment during wave-solder assembly.
