Right-angle mount for tight vertical clearance
The contact length - mating is 0.114" (2.90mm) and the contact length - post is 0.118" (3.00mm) — typical for standard PCB thicknesses around 1.6mm. Compared to the 16-position sibling S16B-PHDSS, the S18B-PHDSS adds two circuits in the same 2-row, 2.00mm pitch footprint, extending the row length by 4.00mm. All other specs — current, voltage, plating, shroud, lock — are identical, so the same mating housing and terminals work across the position count.
