26-circuit right-angle header for board-to-cable harnesses
The S26B-XADSS-N is a 26-position male pin header from JST's XAD series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. The locking ramp on the shroud gives a positive mechanical latch against the mating receptacle.
Current, voltage, and temperature limits for the design
Rated 3 A per contact at 250 V — the current is typical for signal-level interconnects at this pitch; the limiting factor is the contact cross-section and the housing's thermal rise, not the contact material itself. The tin-plated mating finish is suited for moderate mating cycles (50–100 typical); if the application needs frequent disconnect/reconnect in a corrosive environment, a gold-plated variant in the XAD series would extend cycle life.
