ZH series two-position right-angle header
A detent lock on the header provides positive retention against moderate vibration — the mating ZH receptacle clicks into place and holds until deliberately released.
The 1.50 mm pitch sets the PCB footprint: the two pins are spaced 1.50 mm apart center-to-center, which is tighter than JST's XH (2.50 mm) or PH (2.00 mm) series. This saves board space but limits trace width between pads on dense layouts. For higher cycle life, JST offers gold-plated variants in the ZH series.
This header mates with JST ZH series crimp housings — the 2-position receptacle (order code ZHR-2) accepts the SZH-002T-P0.5 terminal for 26-28 AWG wire. It's three parts, not one: header, housing, and terminal must all match the ZH base code. Termination is solder — the 0.106-inch (2.69 mm) post length provides enough through-hole protrusion for a reliable fillet on standard 1.6 mm PCBs. The 0.094-inch (2.40 mm) mating pin length engages the full contact beam inside the receptacle. The natural (beige) insulation color is standard for ZH series headers, and the glass-filled PA66 housing provides dimensional stability during wave soldering.
RoHS compliant per directive 2011/65/EU. The UL94 V-0 flammability rating is listed on the datasheet, supporting use in equipment requiring flame-rated internal components.
