What this 4-pin header does for your board layout
Pitch is 0.098" (2.50mm) — a common JST EH spacing that mates with the matching crimp receptacle housings (e.g., EHR-4). Insulation height is 0.165" (4.20mm) above the board; the 3.20mm post length sits through a standard 1.6mm PCB and leaves room for solder fillets on the bottom side.
The S3B-EH is electrically identical — same 2.50mm pitch, 3 A, 250 V rating, right-angle through-hole, latch lock, tin contacts — but carries 3 circuits instead of 4.
