13-Position SH Series Receptacle Housing, 1.00mm Pitch
The JST SHR-13V-S-B is a 13-position receptacle housing from the SH series, designed for wire-to-board interconnects in compact consumer electronics, medical devices, and industrial sensors. The 1.00mm pitch keeps the board footprint tight — useful when routing multiple signal lines through a constrained PCB area. The housing accepts female socket contacts (sold separately) and terminates via crimp, so you build the wire assembly at the harness bench rather than on the board. The single-row layout keeps the connector narrow, which helps when stacking multiple headers edge-to-edge on a board.
Mating and Termination
This is a free-hanging (in-line) receptacle housing — it does not mount to a PCB. It mates with the corresponding SH series pin header (sold separately) and accepts female socket crimp terminals. The contacts are ordered separately; the housing ships empty. For a 13-circuit harness, you need 13 crimp terminals and the matching hand tool or press. The natural colour makes visual inspection of terminal seating straightforward against the white PBT.
