Board fit and mounting orientation
The SM04B-NSHSS-TB is a 4-position, single-row header on 1.00 mm pitch, terminated via surface-mount right-angle solder tails. The right-angle orientation routes the mating cable parallel to the PCB, saving z-height in tight enclosures.
Rated current and voltage — signal-level duty
Rated 1 A per contact at 50 V — this is a signal interconnect, not a power header. The tin-plated contacts (mating and post) are suited for moderate mating cycles in controlled environments. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C, with a UL94 V-0 nylon housing.
Mating interface and locking
The header is fully shrouded on all four sides, guiding the mating NSH receptacle and protecting the male pins from damage during handling. A latch holder on the top locks the mated pair, providing vibration resistance.
