Board-to-Cable Signal Header at 1.00 mm Pitch
The SM05B-SHLS-TF is a 5-position, single-row header from JST's SHL series, designed for board-to-cable/wire connections at a 1.00 mm pitch. It mounts surface-mount, right-angle, keeping the mated cable parallel to the PCB — useful in tight enclosures where vertical height is limited. Rated 1 A per contact at 50 V, with tin-on-tin contact plating, this is a signal-duty interconnect, not a power rail. The 4-wall shrouded housing protects the pins during mating and the push-pull fastening gives a positive lock without tools.
Mating Half and Series Compatibility
This header mates with JST SHL series crimp-style receptacle housings, which accept the appropriate SHL crimp terminals.
