The SM06B-NSHSS-TB: This is a 6-position, single-row header from JST's NSH series, designed for board-to-cable/wire interconnects. The 0.039" (1.00 mm) pitch and right-angle surface-mount orientation let it route signals parallel to the PCB, saving vertical space in compact enclosures. Each contact is rated 1 A at 50 V with tin-on-tin plating — suitable for low-current signal paths rather than power delivery.
Solder retention and shrouded housing for reliable assembly
The header includes solder retention features to hold it in place during reflow, and the shrouded - 4 wall design protects the pins during handling and mating. Operating temperature spans -25°C to 85°C, covering indoor commercial and most industrial cabinet environments but not extended automotive or outdoor extremes.
Mating and termination compatibility
This header mates with NSH series crimp housings that accept the matching female terminals. The latch holder on the header engages with the housing latch for secure retention. Termination is solder to the PCB — the right-angle SMT pads align with the standard 1.00 mm pitch footprint.
